Active ingredient: Dry ivy leaf extract

VOICLA® Cough Expectorant Ivy Syrup is an herbal medicine containing dry ivy leaf extract. It helps loosen and clear stubborn mucus from the respiratory tract in cases of productive cough.

The syrup is taken only twice a day and is alcohol- and sugar-free.

Dosage and Administration

Adults and adolescents aged 12 years and older:
6 ml syrup twice daily.

Children aged 6 to 11 years:
4 ml syrup twice daily.

Children aged 2 to 5 years:
2 ml syrup twice daily.

In cases of persistent or recurrent cough in children between 2 and 4 years of age, a medical diagnosis is required before treatment.

Shake the bottle well before use. Use the enclosed measuring spoon for dosing. For a dose of 6 ml, use one full measuring spoon of 4 ml and half a measuring spoon of 2 ml.

If symptoms do not improve or worsen after 7 days, a doctor should be consulted.

Composition

1 ml syrup contains:

Active ingredient:
8.25 mg dry ivy leaf extract (Hedera helix L., folium), DER 4–8:1.
Extraction solvent: Ethanol 30% (m/m).

Other ingredients:
Sorbitol solution (non-crystallising) (E 420), potassium sorbate (E 202), xanthan gum (E 415), anhydrous citric acid (E 330), purified water.

Storage Instructions

Keep out of reach of children. Do not store above 25 °C after first opening.

After opening, the syrup can be used for 3 months. Do not use after the stated expiry date.
