Vitawund® Powder.

For the care and protection of irritated skin susceptible to infection.

Product Description

Vitawund® Powder, due to its drying effect, is used for the care of irritated and weeping skin areas.

Skin folds, in particular, can begin to weep due to friction, making them more susceptible to infections. The powder helps keep the skin dry and helps prevent localized skin infections.

Areas of Application

For weeping skin folds such as:

Under the breast
In the thigh area
In the genital or anal area
Between the toes

Suitable for intertrigo or what is known as "Hautwolf" (chafing).

Dosage and Application

Apply thinly to the affected skin areas 1-2 times daily.

Hold the container upright and apply with light pressure. The powder can be distributed, for example, with a cotton pad or swab.

Vitawund® Powder should only be used short-term, for a maximum of 3 days.

Notes and Contraindications

Do not use:

On fresh, deep, or large-area wounds
On poorly perfused tissue
On skin ulcers
On or near the eyes
On mucous membranes or in the ear canal
In case of hypersensitivity to chlorhexidine

Not suitable for the long-term treatment of chronically weeping skin areas.

The simultaneous use of other preparations on the same skin area is not recommended.

Not suitable for body or infant care.

Side Effects

In rare cases, skin irritations or hypersensitivity reactions may occur.

965 mg lactose, highly dispersed silicon dioxide, chlorhexidine acetate as a preservative.
