Viburcol® Children's Suppositories are a homeopathic combination medicine made from several individually harmonized ingredients. They are used for states of restlessness in children and adolescents with or without fever, for example, during teething or with mild abdominal discomfort.

Areas of Application

The areas of application are derived from homeopathic drug pictures.

For use in:

• States of restlessness in children and adolescents

• Teething

• Mild abdominal discomfort

• States of restlessness with or without fever

The application is based exclusively on homeopathic experience.

Suitable for

• Children aged 6 months and older

• Adolescents up to 17 years

Use in children under 6 months is not recommended due to lack of data.

Dosage

Adolescents 12 years and older

• 1 suppository 4 times daily

For acute symptoms:

• 1 suppository every 2 hours

• maximum 8 times daily

Children aged 6 to 11 years

• 1 suppository 4 times daily

For acute symptoms:

• 1 suppository every 2 hours

• maximum 8 times daily

Children aged 2 to 5 years

• 1 suppository 3 times daily

For acute symptoms:

• 1 suppository every 2 hours

• maximum 6 times daily

Children aged 6 to 23 months

• 1 suppository twice daily

For acute symptoms:

• 1 suppository every 2 hours

• maximum 4 times daily

Use in children aged 6 to 12 months should only be done on medical recommendation.

If symptoms improve, the frequency of use should be reduced.

Active Ingredients per Suppository

• Atropa bella-donna D2 – 1.1 mg

• Calcium carbonicum Hahnemanni D8 – 4.4 mg

• Matricaria recutita D1 – 1.1 mg

• Plantago major D3 – 1.1 mg

• Pulsatilla pratensis D2 – 2.2 mg

• Solanum dulcamara D4 – 1.1 mg

Other Ingredient

• Hard fat (Adeps solidus)

Contraindications

Viburcol® must not be used in cases of:

• Hypersensitivity to any of the active ingredients

• Allergy to composite flowers (e.g., chamomile)

• Hypersensitivity to any of the other ingredients

Side Effects

The following side effects may occur:

• Allergic skin reactions

• Mild diarrhea

The frequency is not known.

Interactions

No interactions are known to date.

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding is not recommended.

Notes

If symptoms do not improve or worsen within 5 days, a doctor should be consulted.
