TUSSIMONT® Cough Tea is a soothing blend of proven medicinal plants for use in respiratory tract congestion and cough as part of common colds. The combination of thyme, ribwort plantain, marshmallow root, and anise naturally supports the respiratory tract and provides a pleasant feeling in the throat and chest area, especially during the cold season.
The medicinal plants included complement each other effectively in their action: marshmallow root and ribwort plantain contain natural mucilages that have an irritation-relieving effect on the mucous membranes and soothe the throat. Thyme and anise are rich in essential oils that can loosen stubborn mucus and facilitate expectoration. Additionally, thyme and anise have a pleasant antispasmodic effect on the respiratory tract.
The tea impresses with its mild vanilla-honey taste and is suitable for adults and children from 2 years of age. TUSSIMONT® Cough Tea is traditionally used as a herbal remedy for cold symptoms and coughs.

Application and Dosage
Adults and adolescents from 12 years:
Drink one cup up to 5 times daily.
Children from 2 to 11 years:
Drink one cup up to 3 times daily.
Preparation
Pour boiling water over 1 tea bag per cup and let steep covered for at least 5 minutes.
The tea can be sweetened with honey, sugar, or sweetener to taste. Drink the tea lukewarm.
TUSSIMONT® Cough Tea should always be prepared fresh and consumed within 12 hours.
Storage
Store in the outer carton, protected from light and moisture.
Do not store above 25 °C.

Side effects
TUSSIMONT® Cough Tea is generally well tolerated.
In rare cases, allergic reactions to anise, thyme, or other plant substances contained may occur in sensitive individuals.
Occasionally, mild gastrointestinal complaints such as nausea or abdominal discomfort may occur.
If you have a known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients, the tea should not be used.
