SPERTI® Preparation H Hemorrhoidal Suppositories are a medicine for the treatment of hemorrhoidal conditions.

• For hemorrhoids

• Relieves pain, burning, and itching

Areas of Application

SPERTI® Preparation H Hemorrhoidal Suppositories are used for hemorrhoidal conditions.

Hemorrhoids are nodular dilations of the veins in the anal area. They can occur inside or just outside the anus. Typical symptoms include:

• Itching

• Burning

• Weeping

• Pressure sensation

• Pain in the rectum

• Bleeding during bowel movements

SPERTI® Preparation H is an anti-inflammatory medicine for the treatment of hemorrhoidal conditions. It supports the regression of hemorrhoids and relieves symptoms such as pain, burning, itching, and stinging.

An improvement in symptoms is usually expected after about 5 days.

Application

Adults:

Insert 1 suppository into the anus in the morning and evening, and after each bowel movement.

Treatment should be continued for at least 5 days after the first symptoms have subsided to support the regeneration of the affected tissue.

If symptoms persist or if no improvement occurs within 14 days, medical advice should be sought.

Children and adolescents under 18 years:

Not suitable.

Active ingredients:

• Ethanolic brewer's yeast thick extract (skin respiration factor 162 E) 23 mg per suppository

• Shark liver oil 69 mg per suppository

Other ingredients:

• witepsol

• paracera m

• cocoa butter

• polyethylene glycol-600-dilaurate

• glycerin

Side effects

Like all medicines, SPERTI® Preparation H Hemorrhoidal Suppositories can have side effects, although not everybody gets them. Hypersensitivity reactions or local skin irritations may occur. If unusual symptoms occur, the application should be stopped and medical advice should be sought.

Note

In case of severe bleeding, persistent symptoms, or unclear changes in the anal area, medical clarification should be sought.
