SPERTI® Preparation H Hemorrhoidal Ointment is a medicine for the treatment of hemorrhoids.

Areas of Application

SPERTI® Preparation H Hemorrhoidal Ointment is used for hemorrhoids.

Hemorrhoids are knot-like enlargements of the veins in the anal area. They can occur inside or immediately outside the anus. Typical symptoms include:

• Itching

• Burning

• Weeping

• Pressure sensation

• Pain in the rectum

• Bleeding during bowel movements

SPERTI® Preparation H is an anti-inflammatory medicine for the treatment of hemorrhoids. It supports the regression of hemorrhoids and relieves symptoms such as pain, burning, itching, and stinging.

Treatment should begin at the first signs of hemorrhoids to achieve a rapid and lasting effect.

Application

Adults:

Apply the ointment generously morning and evening, and after each bowel movement.

Application is:

• Superficially in the hemorrhoidal area

• Rectally via applicator in the anus

Children and adolescents under 18 years:

Not suitable.

SPERTI® Preparation H Hemorrhoidal Ointment is suitable for the local treatment of hemorrhoids. The ointment can be applied externally or with the help of the applicator in the rectum and helps relieve typical symptoms such as itching, burning, pressure sensation, and pain.

Ingredients

Active ingredients (per 100 g ointment):

• 1 g ethanolic yeast thick extract (skin respiration factor 7050 E)

• 3 g shark liver oil

Side Effects

No side effects known.

However, like all medicines, this medicine can cause hypersensitivity reactions. If unusual symptoms occur, discontinue use and seek medical advice.
