Isotonic Seawater Solution with Fine Mist for Gentle Nasal Cleansing

Otrivin® Natural Nasal Cleansing Gentle is an isotonic seawater solution (0.9% NaCl) for daily nasal cleaning and moisturising. The fine mist allows for particularly gentle application and is suitable for all ages, including babies.

Areas of Application

For daily nasal hygiene and moisturising the nasal mucous membrane, for example, for colds, dry indoor air, pollen count, or pollutant exposure.

Recommended Use

Babies and children up to 6 years: 1–2 sprays per nostril, 2–3 times daily.

From 6 years and adults: 1–3 sprays per nostril, 2–4 times daily.

To apply, tilt the head slightly to the side, carefully insert the spray nozzle into the upper nostril and spray. Then repeat on the other side and blow your nose.

Clean the spray nozzle with warm water after each use.

The spray can also be used immediately before applying a medicated decongestant nasal spray.

Ingredients / Composition

Seawater 28%, purified water 72%.

1 ml solution contains 0.28 ml seawater and corresponds to 0.9% sodium chloride (NaCl).

Free from preservatives and other chemical additives. Inert propellant gas (nitrogen) that does not come into contact with the solution.

Side Effects / Tolerability

At the beginning of use, a stinging sensation or slight irritation may temporarily occur.

Important Information

For nasal use only. Do not use if hypersensitive to seawater.

For hygienic reasons, the spray should not be shared with other people.

Store below 25 °C. Container is under pressure and may burst if heated. Protect from sunlight and temperatures above 50 °C. Do not pierce or burn.

Do not use after the expiry date. Keep out of reach of children.
