What is NYDA® Express?

NYDA® Express is a treatment for infestation with head lice and nits. It was developed for uncomplicated and fast application and only requires 10 minutes application time.

The pump spray is applied to dry hair and carefully distributed from the hairline to the hair ends. After the application time, the killed lice and nits can be combed out with the enclosed lice comb.

How does NYDA® Express work?

NYDA® Express works physically.

The solution spreads through the hair and penetrates deep into the breathing openings of the lice. This blocks their breathing and suffocates the head lice.

The treatment targets both lice and nits simultaneously and does not rely on a classic neurotoxic insecticide mechanism.

Only 10 minutes application time

A significant advantage of NYDA® Express is the short application time.

After thoroughly wetting the hair, the product only needs to act for 10 minutes. Afterwards, the killed lice and nits can be combed out and the hair can be washed.

Against lice and nits

NYDA® Express was developed for the treatment of an existing head lice infestation.

The physical effect targets both head lice and nits. For successful treatment, it is important to completely wet the entire hair, especially the hairline, with the product.

With lice and nit comb

A suitable comb is already included in the pack.

After the 10-minute application time, the killed lice and nits are carefully combed out of the hair.

The hair should be systematically combed strand by strand from the hairline to the tips.

Application

Apply NYDA® Express to dry hair.

Starting from the hairline, thoroughly spray the entire hair. It is especially important that all hair and the hairline are sufficiently wet with the solution.

Then carefully massage the product in until the hair is completely wet.

Leave NYDA® Express on for 10 minutes.

After the application time, comb out the killed lice and nits with the enclosed lice and nit comb. Start at the hairline and carefully comb the hair strand by strand.

Then wash the hair with a commercially available shampoo.

Check after treatment

After 8 to 10 days, the success of the treatment should be carefully checked.

For this purpose, the hair can be systematically re-examined with a lice and nit comb.

If live head lice are still found or a new treatment is required, NYDA® Express can be reapplied according to the instructions for use.

Practical tips for combing out

Divide the hair into several sections and then comb individual strands from the hairline to the tips.

After each strand, check the lice comb and clean it of lice, nits and hair.

Particular care should be taken to check the neck area, the temples and the areas behind the ears.

Important notes

Use only as directed in the instructions for use.

Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. In case of accidental eye contact, rinse thoroughly with water.

Do not use the product on injured or severely irritated scalp, unless otherwise specified in the instructions for use.

The success of the treatment should be checked after 8 to 10 days.

Side effects and tolerability

In sensitive individuals, local reactions of the scalp such as redness, itching, burning or irritation may occur.

Hypersensitivity reactions to individual components are possible.

In case of severe or persistent symptoms, discontinue use and seek medical or pharmaceutical advice.
