According to Dr. Schuessler's teachings, Potassium chloratum is considered an important mineral for the structure and function of connective tissue. It supports numerous metabolic processes and is traditionally used as a "gland and mucous membrane mineral."

Schuessler Salt No. 4 is particularly valued for ailments accompanied by tough or whitish mucous secretions. Furthermore, it is frequently used in the second phase of colds as well as for soft swellings. According to Schuessler's doctrine, Potassium chloratum helps support the body's natural regulatory and cleansing processes.

Principle of Application

The mineral salts according to Dr. Schuessler are used as part of a biochemical regulatory therapy. The aim is to support the body's natural functions and promote the balance of cellular processes. Due to their special homeopathic preparation, the minerals can be absorbed through the oral mucous membranes.

Recommended Intake / Application

The application depends on individual needs.

• For acute complaints, one tablet can be slowly dissolved in the mouth every 3 to 5 minutes.

• For chronic complaints, one tablet per hour is often recommended, but a maximum of 7 to 10 tablets daily.

• In other cases, one tablet can be taken every two hours.

The tablets can also be used for infants and young children. For this purpose, they are usually dissolved in a little water or made into a paste.
