What are neo-angin cherry sugar-free lozenges and what are they used for?

neo-angin cherry sugar-free is an antiseptic medicine for the mouth and throat. The lozenges are used for sore throats, pharyngeal catarrh, hoarseness and colds. They are also suitable as a supportive treatment for angina, inflammation of the mouth and throat (pharyngitis) and gum inflammation.

Suitable for adults, adolescents and children from 6 years of age.

• Onset of action within 5–10 minutes

• Duration of action approx. 1–3 hours

Application & Dosage

Always take this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.

Recommended dosage

Unless otherwise prescribed, adults, adolescents and children from 6 years of age should allow 1 lozenge to dissolve slowly in the mouth every 2–3 hours.

A maximum of 6 lozenges may be used within 24 hours.

If symptoms do not improve or worsen after 3–4 days, a doctor should be consulted.

For oral use.
For sucking.

Side effects

Like all medicines, neo-angin cherry sugar-free can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

Possible side effects:

• Irritation or hypersensitivity reactions in the mouth and throat area

• Allergic skin reactions

• Stomach upset or nausea

• Rarely, hypersensitivity reactions to ingredients

If allergic reactions or severe symptoms occur, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
