What is neo-angin® sugar-free and what is it used for?

Neo-angin sugar-free lozenges are used for sore throats, pharyngitis, hoarseness, colds, angina, inflammation in the mouth and throat (pharyngitis), and gingivitis.

Suitable for adults, adolescents, and children aged 6 and over.

If no improvement occurs after 3-4 days, or if the condition worsens, please consult your doctor.

Properties

• Fights pathogens

• Has a disinfecting and pain-relieving effect

• Effect starts within 5-10 minutes

• Lasts approximately 1-3 hours

How to take neo-angin® sugar-free?

Always take this medication according to the package leaflet or as advised by your doctor or pharmacist.

Recommended Dosage

Unless otherwise prescribed, adults, adolescents, and children aged 6 and over should slowly dissolve 1 lozenge in their mouth every 2-3 hours.

A maximum of 6 lozenges should be consumed within 24 hours.

Neo-angin sugar-free should not be used for more than 3-4 days without medical advice.

Method of Application

Intended for sucking.

Side Effects

Like all medicines, neo-angin sugar-free can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

Possible side effects:

• Irritation or burning in the mouth and throat area

• Allergic reactions of the skin or mucous membranes

• Hypersensitivity reactions to levomenthol or dyes

• Stomach upset or nausea

• In excessive amounts, isomalt can have a laxative effect

In case of allergic reactions or severe symptoms, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
