What is neo-angin and what is it used for?

Neo-angin lozenges are used for sore throats, pharyngitis, hoarseness, and colds. They also provide relief for angina, inflammation in the mouth and throat (pharyngitis), and gingivitis.

Suitable for adults, adolescents, and children aged 6 years and older.

Product Features

• Effect begins within 5–10 minutes

• Duration of action is approximately 1–3 hours

How to take neo-angin?

Unless otherwise prescribed, adults, adolescents, and children aged 6 years and older should slowly dissolve one lozenge in their mouth every 2–3 hours.

A maximum of 6 lozenges may be taken within 24 hours.

Neo-angin lozenges should not be used for longer than 3–4 days without medical advice.

• 2,4-Dichlorobenzyl alcohol

• Amylmetacresol

• Levomenthol

Other Ingredients

• Glucose syrup

• Sucrose

• Tartaric acid

• Star anise oil

• Peppermint oil

• Colorants and flavorings

• Additional excipients

Side Effects

As with all medicines, neo-angin lozenges can cause side effects, though not everybody gets them.

Possible side effects:

• Irritation or hypersensitivity reactions in the mouth and throat area

• Allergic skin reactions

• Stomach upset or nausea

• Rarely, allergic reactions to certain ingredients

If severe symptoms or allergic reactions occur, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
