Mucokehl D5 eye drops are a homeopathic medicine with Mucor racemosus D5 in an isotonic saline solution. They are used for the local treatment of cataracts, especially in cases of age-related or diabetes-related lens opacities.

Mucokehl D5 eye drops are used to treat circulation-related visual disturbances and cataracts. According to the available product information, they are intended to support the nutrient supply to the eyeball and counteract lens opacities.

Recommended Use

Unless otherwise prescribed, apply 1 drop to the affected eye twice daily.

The tip of the dropper must not touch the eye or fingers. Application should not exceed 4 weeks. If no improvement occurs after 2–3 days of treatment, a doctor should be consulted.

Mucor racemosus D5, chlorhexidine diacetate, water for injections, sodium chloride.

Side Effects

In case of hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients, discomfort may occur. If unusual or persistent eye complaints occur, medical advice should be sought.

Important Notes

Mucokehl D5 eye drops must not be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding, in children under 12 years of age, or in existing autoimmune diseases.

In cases of cataracts or increasing visual impairment, an ophthalmological examination is important. In the event of sudden visual disturbances, severe eye pain, or a significant worsening of symptoms, medical help should be sought immediately.
