LUUF® Essential Oils Balm

Areas of Application
For the external treatment of colds with symptoms such as cough, runny nose, and sore throat, as well as for adjunctive therapy for tracheal and bronchial inflammation (bronchitis) and persistent catarrh.

LUUF® essential oils balm contains essential oils from eucalyptus and various pine varieties, as well as camphor, menthol, and thymol.

The ingredients have antispasmodic, disinfectant, and expectorant effects. Tenacious mucus is liquefied and can be coughed up more easily. In addition, breathing is facilitated, and the urge to cough is relieved.

The essential oils reach the respiratory tract partly through the skin and partly through the inhaled air, where they exert their effect.

Dosage and Application

Rubbing:
Apply about ½ to 1 teaspoon of balm to the neck, chest, and back 2–3 times daily, ideally in the morning and evening, and gently massage it in.

To enhance the effect, the treated areas can be covered with warm cloths.

Inhalation:
Add a hazelnut-sized amount of balm to hot water and inhale the rising vapors for several minutes.

If symptoms persist for longer than 5 days or worsen, a doctor should be consulted.

Proven natural essential oils from eucalyptus, pine, and mountain pine for the supportive treatment of cold symptoms and for inhalation.

Ingredients

Active ingredients per 1 g balm:
100 mg camphor,
27.5 mg menthol,
50 mg eucalyptus oil,
50 mg rectified turpentine oil,
30 mg mountain pine oil,
25 mg pine needle oil,
2.5 mg thymol.

Other ingredients:
White petroleum jelly, nutmeg oil, cedar leaf oil, hard paraffin.

Additional natural components of essential oils:
Citronellol, Eugenol, Geraniol, Isoeugenol, Limonene, Linalool.

Net weight
30 g balm.

Side Effects
As with all medicines, side effects may occur with this product, but not every user will experience them. Possible side effects include skin irritation, redness, or allergic reactions to essential oils. Respiratory irritation may occur in sensitive individuals. If signs of hypersensitivity reactions appear, use should be discontinued and a doctor consulted.
