Lemocin® Lozenges

For supportive relief of sore throats and inflammation of the mucous membranes in the mouth and throat area.

Lemocin® Lozenges work at the first symptoms of sore throat, scratchy throat, and difficulty swallowing.

The combination of three active ingredients has pain-relieving, antibacterial, and disinfectant effects.

The sugar-free lozenges with lemon flavor are suitable for adults and adolescents aged 12 and over.

Application and Dosage

Adults and adolescents aged 12 and over:
Depending on the intensity of symptoms, let 1 lozenge slowly dissolve in the mouth every 1 to 3 hours.

No more than 8 lozenges should be used per day.

The tablets should be left in the mouth and not bitten or swallowed whole.

Do not use directly before or after brushing your teeth, as toothpaste can impair the effect.

Duration of Use

Without medical advice, Lemocin® should not be taken for longer than 4 to 5 days.

If you experience severe sore throat or accompanying symptoms such as fever, headache, nausea, or vomiting, a doctor should be consulted.

Ingredients

Active ingredients per lozenge:

• 4 mg tyrothricin corresponding to 800 I.U. gramicidin

• 2 mg cetrimonium bromide

• 1 mg lidocaine

Other ingredients:
Sorbitol, sodium saccharin, highly dispersed silicon dioxide, guar, magnesium stearate, talc, citric acid, peppermint flavor, lemon flavor, quinoline yellow (E104), indigotine (E132).

Side Effects

Like all medicines, this product can also cause side effects, although not everyone will experience them.

The following side effects may occur occasionally:

• Irritation or numbness in the mouth and throat area

• Taste disturbances

• Hypersensitivity reactions

• Irritation of the mucous membranes

Excessive consumption of sorbitol can have a laxative effect.
