Product Description

Lysine HCl 500 mg GPH Capsules contain 500 mg of L-lysine hydrochloride in a hard gelatin capsule.

L-lysine is an essential amino acid and is found in large quantities in muscle tissue. It is also a component of collagen and various endogenous enzymes.

Normal L-lysine metabolism depends on various nutrients such as vitamin B2, vitamin B3, vitamin B6, vitamin C, iron and zinc.

L-lysine supports wound healing, strengthens the body's defenses and is also traditionally used in connection with cold sores. In addition, it plays a role in energy metabolism and is a component of the body's own L-carnitine.

In combination with vitamin C, L-lysine is also described in connection with supporting vascular health.

Raw Material Description

L-lysine is produced by fermentation of plant raw materials and is not of animal origin.

The gelatin used complies with tested pharmaceutical gelatin and is BSE/TSE tested.
