KINDER LUUF® Balm

Areas of application
For external use in cold symptoms such as cough, runny nose, and pharyngitis with sore throat and hoarseness.

For adjunctive therapy in tracheitis and bronchitis as well as in persistent catarrh.

Children's LUUF® Balm is specially designed for children aged 3 years and older. Proven natural essential oils such as eucalyptus oil, camphor, and menthol are formulated for children.

The balm has an antispasmodic and germicidal effect. It helps to liquefy stubborn mucus so that it can be coughed up more easily, thereby facilitating breathing and alleviating the urge to cough.

Application and dosage

Rubbing:
Children aged 2 to 12 years:
Apply 2-3 times daily, at least in the morning and evening.

Depending on the child's age, approximately 1-2 teaspoons of balm should be applied to the chest and back and gently rubbed in.

The effect can be enhanced by covering the chest and back afterwards with a pre-warmed cloth or undershirt.

Inhalation:
Suitable for children aged 6 years and older.

Dissolve a hazelnut-sized amount of balm in hot water and inhale the vapors for a few minutes.

If symptoms persist for longer than 5 days or worsen, a doctor should be consulted.

Note on age groups
LUUF® Balms are suitable for various age groups:

• For infants and toddlers aged 6 months to 2 years: Baby LUUF® essential oils balm
• For adolescents and adults: LUUF® essential oils balm

Ingredients

Active ingredients per 1 g balm:
50 mg camphor,
27.5 mg menthol,
15 mg eucalyptus oil,
50 mg purified turpentine oil,
2.5 mg thymol.

Other ingredients:
Nutmeg oil, cedar leaf oil, white petroleum jelly, hard paraffin.

Additional natural components of essential oils:
Citronellol, Eugenol, Geraniol, Isoeugenol, Limonene, Linalool.

Net content
30 g balm.

Side effects
As with all medicines, side effects may occur with this product, but they do not necessarily affect everyone. Possible side effects include skin irritation, redness or allergic reactions to essential oils. In sensitive children, respiratory irritation may occur. If signs of hypersensitivity appear, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
