Used for eczema, wounds, minor burns, and other skin irritations.

Areas of Application

Acute and chronic eczema
Wounds, abrasions, and chapped skin
Minor burns, such as sunburn
Other skin irritations, including redness, chilblains, skin cracks, or open blisters
Diaper dermatitis without additional infection

Application and Dosage

Use once or twice daily.

Apply a thin layer of the ointment to the affected skin area and cover with a bandage if necessary.

For skin damage in folds, such as in the groin, on the buttocks, or under the breasts, apply the ointment to gauze strips and place them in the folds.

Mechanism of Action

The combination of ichthammol, witch hazel extract, zinc oxide, and titanium dioxide promotes the care of irritated skin and is traditionally used for inflammatory skin problems.

Side Effects

Contact allergies and intolerance reactions may occur.

Active ingredients per 100 g ointment:
1 g Ichthammol
1 g Witch hazel fluid extract
15 g Zinc oxide
5 g Titanium dioxide

Other ingredients:
Lanolin.
