Effective relief for more intense discomfort

HYLO GEL® is specially formulated to meet the needs of chronically dry eyes. Thanks to the high concentration of hyaluronic acid, the highly viscous drops adhere particularly well to the eye surface.

Symptoms such as itching, foreign body sensation, redness, and burning are relieved. At the same time, the eye surface is protected from irritation long-term.

After surgical procedures on the eye, HYLO GEL® supports the healing process.

The COMOD® system allows for:

• precise dosing (1 drop per pump)
• at least 300 drops per bottle
• 6 months shelf life after opening

Highly concentrated hyaluronic acid for a long-lasting effect

HYLO GEL® contains 0.2% hyaluronic acid – a natural substance.

Due to the high concentration, a stable, protective film forms on the eye surface. The conjunctiva and cornea are intensely and sustainably moisturized.

Despite the gel-like consistency, visual acuity remains unimpaired.

It can also be used with soft and hard contact lenses.

Areas of application

Dry eyes (Sicca syndrome)
Often caused by screen work, environmental factors, or age-related changes.

After eye surgeries
Sufficient moisturization promotes wound healing and stabilizes the tear film.

Dosage and application

Application:

1. Remove protective cap
2. Hold bottle with dropper tip facing down
3. Steady hand
4. Tilt head back, pull down lower eyelid
5. Instill drop into conjunctival sac
6. Close eye and distribute fluid
7. Close bottle again

Dosage:

• Usually 1 drop per eye, 3 times daily
• Can be used more frequently if needed

Combination with other preparations:

• Wait at least 30 minutes before applying other eye drops
• Apply HYLO GEL® last
• Use eye ointments afterwards

Notes

• Contact lens compatible
• Wait approx. 30 minutes after inserting lenses before application
• Temporary blurring possible shortly after instillation

How often to use?
Individually depending on symptoms, usually 3 times daily.

Use with contact lenses?
Yes, with a recommended waiting period after insertion.

Overnight moisturization?
For severe discomfort, an eye ointment can also be used.

Why without preservatives?
Reduces the risk of irritation and supports tolerability, especially with long-term use.

• Sorbitol
• Water for injection

Side Effects

HYLO GEL® is generally well tolerated.

Possible side effects:

• temporary blurring directly after instillation
• slight burning or irritation
• rarely hypersensitivity reactions

These usually disappear quickly.

If symptoms persist or are unusual, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
