HYLO DUAL® – Moisture and Protection for Dry and Allergy-Prone Eyes

Combination of Moisture and Protection

Symptoms such as burning, itching, watery eyes or rapid fatigue are often the result of dry eyes or allergic reactions.

HYLO DUAL® is specifically developed for these symptoms. The eye drops moisturize the eye surface, relieve irritation and stabilize the tear film. Additionally, it provides protection against renewed dryness and strengthens the immune system against allergens.

The COMOD® System offers:

• sterile application without preservatives
• at least 300 drops per bottle
• precise dosage (1 drop per pump actuation)

Dual Active Principle: Hyaluronic Acid + Ectoine

• Hyaluronic acid (0.05%) guarantees uniform and long-lasting moistening of the eye surface
• Ectoine (2%) stabilizes the tear film, protects cell membranes and supports the natural barrier function

Additionally, ectoine reduces the evaporation of tear fluid and thus protects against dryness.

Areas of Application

Environmental Influences
Dry air, screen work, smoke or fine dust can irritate the eyes and impair the tear film.

Allergies
Pollen, animal dander or house dust cause itching, burning and watery eyes.

Dry Eyes
An unstable tear film leads to irritation and a foreign body sensation.

Dosage and Application

Application:

1. Remove protective cap
2. Hold bottle with dropper tip downwards
3. Stabilize hand
4. Tilt head slightly back, pull down lower eyelid
5. Instill drop into the conjunctival sac
6. Close eye and distribute drop
7. Close bottle again

Dosage:

• Usually 1 drop per eye, 3 times a day
• Can also be applied more frequently if needed

Notes

• Suitable for children aged 6 and above
• Compatible with contact lenses (wait approx. 30 minutes after insertion)
• Suitable for long-term use

Side Effects

HYLO DUAL® is generally well tolerated.

In rare cases, the following symptoms may occur:

• slight burning sensation after instillation
• temporary watery eyes
• hypersensitivity reactions

These usually subside quickly.

If persistent or unusual symptoms occur, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
