Indication

For moisturizing and supporting the healing of a damaged ocular surface, e.g. due to dry eyes or after surgical procedures.

Dosage

The application is individual, depending on the condition and the recommendation of a doctor or pharmacist.

In general:

• 1 drop into the conjunctival sac of each eye 3 times daily
• More frequent use possible for more severe symptoms

For very frequent use (e.g. more than 10 times daily), an ophthalmological check-up should be carried out.

The preparation is suitable for long-term use. If symptoms persist, medical advice should be sought.

Method of Administration

• Only use if the seal is undamaged before first use

Step 1
Remove cap. Before first use, hold bottle with dropper tip downwards and pump until the first drop emerges.

Step 2
Hold bottle with dropper tip downwards (thumb on the bottle shoulder, fingers on the base).

Step 3
Stabilize hand.

Step 4
Tilt head slightly backward, pull down the lower eyelid, place drops into the conjunctival sac. Then close eyes so that the liquid spreads.

Step 5
Close the bottle immediately. Keep the dropper tip clean and dry. Avoid contact with eyes or skin.

Notes:

• Content: 10 ml (approx. 300 drops)
• Residual amount technically possible
• Bottle for use by one person only

Contraindications

Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.

Interactions

When using other eye drops in addition:

• Maintain a minimum interval of 30 minutes
• Apply this preparation last

Always apply eye ointments after drops.

Patient Information

By refraining from preservatives, the preparation is well tolerated even with prolonged use.

In very rare cases, hypersensitivity reactions such as burning or tearing were observed, which subsided after discontinuation.

Contact Lenses:
Use with soft and hard contact lenses is possible.
An interval of approximately 30 minutes after inserting the lenses is recommended.

Pregnancy and Lactation

Application possible for:

• Children
• Pregnant women
• Breastfeeding women

Ingredients

Active ingredients:

• Dexpanthenol
• 1 mg Hyaluronic acid (sodium salt)

Excipients:

• Water for injections
• Citric acid for pH adjustment
• Sodium citrate

Side Effects

No frequent side effects are known.

In rare cases, the following may occur:

• slight burning after instillation
• temporary tearing
• hypersensitivity reactions

These generally subside after discontinuation.

If symptoms persist or are unusual, a doctor should be consulted.
