Hova® Film-Coated Tablets

Hova® is a herbal product containing extracts from valerian root and hop cones. These two medicinal plants are traditionally used to relieve nervous sleep problems and restlessness.

Taken in the evening, Hova® can facilitate falling and staying asleep. During the day, its calming effect helps to achieve more serenity and relaxation.

Ingredients

Hova® contains valuable plant extracts from:

• Valerian root (Valeriana officinalis)

• Hop cones (Humulus lupulus)

This combination has a calming, relaxing, and sleep-inducing effect.

Application and Dosage

The film-coated tablets should be swallowed whole with sufficient liquid.

For nervous sleep problems

Adults and adolescents 12 years and older

• 2 film-coated tablets approximately 30 minutes before bedtime

Children aged 6 to 12 years (after medical recommendation)

• 1 film-coated tablet approximately 30 minutes before bedtime

For restlessness and nervousness

Adults and adolescents 12 years and older

• 1 film-coated tablet 1 to 3 times daily

Children aged 6 to 12 years (after medical recommendation)

• 1 film-coated tablet 1 to 2 times daily

There is insufficient experience for children under 6 years of age.

A characteristic valerian odor is normal.

Ingredients

Active ingredients per film-coated tablet

• 200.2 mg dry extract from valerian root (Valerianae radix)

• 45.5 mg dry extract from hop cones (Lupuli flos)

Other ingredients

• Glucose (19.5 mg)

• Lactose (7.92 mg)

Possible Side Effects

Like all medicines, Hova® can have undesirable effects, which do not necessarily occur in everyone.

Occasionally, the following may occur:

• Gastrointestinal discomfort

• Nausea

• Abdominal pain

• Fatigue

Rarely, the following may occur:

• Dizziness

• Headaches

• Hypersensitivity reactions

• Skin reactions

If allergic reactions or persistent complaints occur, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor.

• If symptoms persist or worsen, a doctor should be consulted.

• Contains lactose and glucose.
