Grippostad® C Capsules

Grippostad® C Capsules are used for the symptomatic treatment of co-occurring cold symptoms such as:

• Runny nose
• Irritating cough
• Head and body aches
• Fever

The unique 4-active ingredient combination of paracetamol, chlorphenamine, caffeine and vitamin C supports the rapid relief of typical cold symptoms.

How the 4-active ingredient combination works

Paracetamol

• relieves head and body aches
• reduces fever

Chlorphenamine

• decongests the nasal mucosa
• reduces mucus production
• relieves irritating cough

Caffeine

• supports and enhances the pain-relieving effect of paracetamol

Vitamin C

• supports the immune system

Properties

• rapid relief of typical cold symptoms
• with vitamin C
• also suitable for high blood pressure and diabetes without renal insufficiency
• suitable for asthmatics (except for analgesic asthma)

Application and Dosage

Adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over:

• 2 capsules 3 times daily

Method of application:

• Take with sufficient liquid, e.g., a glass of water

Notes

Do not take if:

• severe liver or kidney dysfunction
• pregnancy or breastfeeding

Liver or kidney dysfunction:

• Dose adjustment or extension of the dosing interval required
• Consultation with a doctor recommended

• 200 mg paracetamol
• 150 mg ascorbic acid (vitamin C)
• 25 mg caffeine
• 2.5 mg chlorphenamine maleate

Side effects

Like all medicines, this one can also have side effects, although not everyone experiences them.

Possible side effects:

• Fatigue or drowsiness
• Nervousness or sleep disturbances
• Dry mouth
• Nausea
• allergic skin reactions

Rarely, liver dysfunction or hypersensitivity reactions may occur.

If you experience breathing difficulties, rash, or swelling, discontinue use and seek medical attention.
