Grippostad® Akut Granules

Grippostad® Akut contains the active ingredient combination of acetylsalicylic acid (ASA) and pseudoephedrine for the symptomatic treatment of:

• Rhinitis with swelling of the nasal and paranasal sinus mucous membranes
• cold-related pain
• fever in colds and flu-like infections

The fast-dissolving drinking granules help you breathe freely again and relieve typical cold symptoms.

Active & auxiliary ingredients

Active ingredients per sachet

• 500 mg acetylsalicylic acid
• 30 mg pseudoephedrine hydrochloride

Other ingredients

• Sucrose
• Hypromellose
• Anhydrous citric acid
• Saccharin
• Orange flavour
  • contains maltodextrin
  • Acacia gum
  • Ascorbic acid
  • Butylhydroxyanisole
  • Flavourings

Effect of the ingredients

Pseudoephedrine

Acts as a vasoconstrictor and decongests the mucous membranes of the nose and paranasal sinuses. This facilitates nasal breathing.

ASA (Acetylsalicylic acid)

Acts as:

• pain reliever
• fever reducer
• anti-inflammatory

Application

Recommended dosage

Adults and adolescents aged 16 and over:

• 1-2 sachets per single dose
• Can be taken every 4-8 hours
• maximum 6 sachets daily

Method of application

• Pour contents into a glass of water
• stir well
• drink completely immediately

Note: The granules do not dissolve completely.

It can be taken regardless of meals.

Duration of use

Do not use for more than 3 days.

If symptoms such as nasal congestion, pain or fever persist thereafter, medical advice should be sought.

Notes

Do not use:

• during pregnancy and breastfeeding
• in case of known hypersensitivity to ASA or pseudoephedrine

Caution with:

• High blood pressure
• Cardiovascular diseases
• Gastrointestinal ulcers
• Taking other ASA-containing preparations

Contains sugar:
1 sachet contains 2135 mg sucrose.
