What are GeloRevoice® Cherry-Menthol Throat Lozenges?

With a cold, dry air, or after heavy voice use, the throat often feels rough, dry, and irritated. A scratchy throat, cough reflex, sore throat, and hoarseness can be the result.

GeloRevoice® Throat Lozenges have been specially developed to intensively moisturize the oral and pharyngeal mucous membrane and alleviate typical complaints of an irritated throat and strained voice.

Slowly sucking on the lozenge forms a soothing protective film that evenly coats the mucous membranes in the mouth and throat. This provides long-lasting moisture to the irritated areas and protects them from further external irritants.

The Cherry-Menthol flavor combines a fruity cherry aroma with the refreshing effect of menthol.

How do GeloRevoice® Throat Lozenges work?

The special mechanism of action is based on the original Revoice® Hydro-Depot.

When the lozenge is sucked, the components of the Hydro-Depot react with saliva to form a special hydrogel complex. This spreads over the oral and pharyngeal mucous membrane and forms a moisturizing protective film over the irritated areas.

This provides intensive and long-lasting moisture to the mucous membrane. Scratchy throat, cough reflex, and hoarseness can be noticeably relieved.

The continuous moisturization also supports the natural regeneration of the stressed mucous membrane.

The Revoice® Hydro-Depot

The active ingredients xanthan gum, carbomer, and sodium hyaluronate are the essential components of the Revoice® Hydro-Depot.

Sodium hyaluronate has a high water-binding capacity and contributes to the intensive moisturization of the mucous membrane.

Xanthan gum and carbomer support the formation and stability of the hydrogel film. This allows the protective film to spread evenly over the mucous membrane and adhere there for longer.

Application and Dosage

Depending on your needs, a GeloRevoice® throat lozenge can be sucked several times a day, for example, every 2 to 3 hours.

Up to 6 throat lozenges can be used daily.

Application after meals is recommended.

Slowly suck GeloRevoice® throat lozenges until completely dissolved. This allows the Revoice® Hydro-Depot to fully develop and spread evenly over the oral and pharyngeal mucous membrane.

Do not chew the throat lozenges or swallow them whole.

GeloRevoice® can be used over a longer period or as part of an intermittent application.

Use in Children

GeloRevoice® Throat Lozenges are suitable for children aged 6 and over.

The child should be able to suck a throat lozenge in a controlled and slow manner.

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

GeloRevoice® Throat Lozenges can also be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Notes

In case of persistent, recurring, or increasing symptoms, the cause should be clarified by a doctor.

If you have a known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients, the product should not be used.

Do not chew the throat lozenges or swallow them whole.

Storage

Store below 25 °C and dry.

After each removal, carefully close the aluminum tube again to protect the throat lozenges from moisture.

Side Effects and Tolerability

GeloRevoice® Throat Lozenges are intended for regular and also longer-term use.

In sensitive individuals, intolerance or hypersensitivity reactions to individual components or aromas may occur.

In case of unusual or persistent symptoms, discontinue use and seek medical or pharmaceutical advice.
