What are GeloRevoice® Throat Lozenges Cassis-Menthol?

During a cold, in dry air, or after heavy voice use, the throat often feels rough, dry, and irritated. Typical symptoms such as scratchy throat, tickly cough, sore throat, or hoarseness can result.

GeloRevoice® Throat Lozenges have been specially developed to moisturize and protect the oral and pharyngeal mucous membranes. When slowly sucked, a soothing protective film forms, evenly coating the irritated mucous membranes.

The Revoice® Hydro-Depot provides intensive and long-lasting moisturization. This can alleviate symptoms and support the natural regeneration of the stressed mucous membranes.

How do GeloRevoice® Throat Lozenges work?

The special principle of action is based on the original Revoice® Hydro-Depot.

When sucked, the components of the Hydro-Depot, together with saliva, form a hydrogel complex. This spreads over the oral and pharyngeal mucous membranes and forms a moisturizing protective film over the irritated areas.

This intensively moisturizes the mucous membranes and protects them from further external irritants. Scratchy throat, tickly cough, and hoarseness can thus be relieved quickly, noticeably, and long-lastingly.

The Revoice® Hydro-Depot

The active ingredients xanthan gum, carbomer, and sodium hyaluronate form the basis of the Revoice® Hydro-Depot.

Sodium hyaluronate has a pronounced water-binding capacity and supports intensive moisturization of the mucous membranes.

Xanthan gum and carbomer contribute to the formation and stability of the hydrogel film. This allows the moisturizing protective film to spread evenly over the oral and pharyngeal mucous membranes and adhere there for longer.

Application and dosage

One GeloRevoice® throat lozenge can be sucked several times a day as needed, for example, every 2 to 3 hours.

Up to 6 throat lozenges can be used daily.

It is recommended to take them after meals.

Slowly suck the throat lozenge until it is completely dissolved. This allows the Revoice® Hydro-Depot to fully unfold and distribute evenly over the oral and pharyngeal mucous membranes.

Do not chew the throat lozenges or swallow them whole.

GeloRevoice® throat lozenges can be used for a longer period or for interval therapy.

Use in children

GeloRevoice® throat lozenges are suitable for children from 6 years of age.

The child should be able to suck the throat lozenge controlled and slowly until it is completely dissolved.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

GeloRevoice® throat lozenges can also be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Storage

Store below 25 °C and dry.

After each tablet removal, carefully reseal the aluminum tube to protect the throat lozenges from moisture.

Important notes

If symptoms persist, recur, or worsen, the cause should be clarified by a doctor.

The product should not be used if there is a known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.

Slowly suck the throat lozenges and do not chew or swallow them whole.

Side effects and tolerability

In sensitive individuals, intolerance or hypersensitivity reactions to individual ingredients or aromas may occur.

In case of unusual, severe, or persistent reactions, discontinue use and seek medical or pharmaceutical advice.
