Fenivir Cold Sore Cream 2 g

Speeds up the healing process.
Also effective during the blister phase.

Fenivir Cold Sore Cream contains the patented active ingredient Penciclovir and is actively effective against herpes viruses. The cream should be applied at the first sign of a cold sore. However, Fenivir can also be used in the blister phase and shortens the healing process at every stage.

Areas of Application

Recurrent cold sores (Herpes labialis).

Dosage

The cream should be applied at two-hour intervals, at least 6–8 times daily.

On the second day of application, the cream should be applied 10–12 times daily if possible.

Method of Application

Apply the cream at the first signs of discomfort if possible.

Fenivir Cold Sore Cream must not be used on mucous membranes.

Duration of Application

The recommended duration of application is 4–5 days.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity reactions can occur with all medicines. In this case, the medicine must be discontinued immediately.

Fenivir must not be used if there is a known allergy to the active ingredient or any of the other ingredients.

The medicine must also not be used if the immune system is weakened.

Side Effects

Like all medicines, Fenivir Cold Sore Cream can cause side effects. In sensitive individuals, local skin reactions or hypersensitivity reactions may occur.

Paraffin, liquid, E 1520, purified water, propylene glycol, cetostearyl alcohol, white petrolatum, macrogol cetostearyl ether.
