Herbal medicinal product for the treatment of premenstrual syndrome (PMS)

Femidoc® Agnuscastus 20 mg film-coated tablets contain a dry extract from chaste tree fruits (Vitex agnus-castus L.) as an active ingredient. The medicine is used to treat premenstrual syndrome with monthly recurring symptoms before the onset of menstruation.

Femidoc® Agnuscastus contains the special herbal extract Ze 440 from chaste tree fruits in a dosage of 20 mg per film-coated tablet.

Areas of Application

Femidoc® Agnuscastus 20 mg is used for the treatment of premenstrual syndrome in adult women. Possible symptoms before the onset of menstruation include:

• Mood swings

• Irritability

• Breast tenderness

• Abdominal discomfort

Recommended Use

Adult women aged 18 and over take 1 film-coated tablet once daily in the morning.

Take the film-coated tablet unchewed with a glass of water, preferably always at the same time of day.

For optimal treatment effect, continuous use for 3 months is recommended. If symptoms have not improved or have even worsened after 3 months, a doctor should be consulted.

Ingredients / Composition

1 film-coated tablet contains as active ingredient:

20 mg extract (as dry extract) from Vitex agnus-castus L., fructus (chaste tree fruits), DEV 6–12:1; extracting agent: ethanol 60% (m/m).

Other ingredients: Microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, highly dispersed anhydrous silicon dioxide, hypromellose, titanium dioxide (E171), macrogol 400, macrogol 20000, propylene glycol.

Important Notes

Femidoc® Agnuscastus 20 mg is intended for adult women aged 18 and over.

The medicine contains lactose.
