Emser® Inhalation Solution Hypertonic 4%

Emser® Inhalation Solution Hypertonic 4% is a sterile, hypertonic solution with natural Emser salt, which can be used for inhalation with various nebulizers. It promotes the gentle mobilization of secretions and supports mucus liquefaction in the lower respiratory tract.

The hypertonic solution draws water into the airways through osmotic effects, which helps to loosen stuck mucus and facilitate its removal. In addition, the activity of the cilia is stimulated, which supports the natural cleansing of the airways.

The application is particularly suitable for diseases of the lower respiratory tract associated with mucus solidification, such as:

• acute bronchitis
• acute bronchiolitis
• cystic fibrosis

Additionally, Emser® Inhalation Solution Hypertonic 4% can be used as a vehicle for the inhalation of beta-sympathomimetics and anticholinergics.

Suitable for adults, adolescents, and children aged one year and older.

Important:
The solution should not be combined with medicines containing ambroxol or bromhexine.

Application:
Use the solution with a suitable nebulizer. Application should be carried out according to medical instructions or the instructions for use.

Side effects:
In rare cases, temporary coughing fits, mild airway irritation, or increased expectoration may occur. In sensitive individuals, the hypertonic solution may cause a slight burning sensation for a short period.
