Easyangin® Spray

Easyangin® Spray is an over-the-counter medicine for topical application in the mouth and throat. The combination of chlorhexidine and lidocaine supports the treatment of sore throats and inflammation in the mouth and throat.

The active ingredient chlorhexidine has an antiseptic effect and helps fight germs, while lidocaine has a local pain-relieving effect and can quickly reduce discomfort in the throat and pharynx.

Areas of Application

easyangin® Spray is used for supportive, short-term topical treatment of mild to moderate inflammation of the pharynx and oral cavity, including:

• Sore throat
• Pharyngitis
• Hoarseness
• Inflammation of the oral cavity and pharynx (pharyngitis)
• Gingivitis
• Stomatitis
• Aphthous ulcers

Active Ingredients

Per 1 ml solution

• 0.5 mg Lidocaine hydrochloride
• 2 mg Chlorhexidine gluconate

Per spray

• 0.04 mg Lidocaine hydrochloride
• 0.17 mg Chlorhexidine gluconate

How does easyangin® Spray work?

easyangin® Spray combines an antiseptic and pain-relieving effect:

• Lidocaine has a local anesthetic effect and can quickly relieve pain in the mouth and throat.
• Chlorhexidine has an antiseptic effect and supports the fight against bacteria and germs.

As a result, easyangin® Spray can reduce discomfort and simultaneously counteract inflammation.

Application and Dosage

Adults aged 18 and over

3 to 5 sprays, 6 to 10 times daily.
The maximum daily dose of 50 sprays must not be exceeded.

Children aged 6 and over and adolescents aged 12 to 18

2 to 3 sprays, 3 to 5 times daily.
The maximum daily dose of 25 sprays must not be exceeded.

For use in the mouth and throat.

Notes

Not suitable for children under 6 years of age.
This medicine should only be used for a short period.

Contains ethanol (alcohol).
Total ethanol content: 41.6% (V/V).

Possible Side Effects

Like all medicines, easyangin® Spray can cause side effects, although not everyone experiences them. Temporary numbness or irritation in the mouth and throat, changes in taste, or mild mucosal irritation are possible. Allergic reactions or hypersensitivity reactions may rarely occur. Due to the alcohol content, sensitive individuals may experience a temporary burning sensation. If symptoms are persistent or unusual, discontinue use and seek medical advice.
