Easyangin® lemon 5mg/1mg

Easyangin® lemon is an over-the-counter medication for local application in the mouth and throat. The lozenges combine the antiseptic effect of chlorhexidine with the local pain-relieving effect of lidocaine, thereby supporting the treatment of sore throats and inflammation in the mouth and throat area.

The fresh lemon flavor also provides a pleasant sensation in the throat and pharynx.

Areas of Application

Easyangin® lemon is used for supportive, short-term local treatment of mild to moderate inflammations of the throat and oral cavity, including:

• Sore throats
• Pharyngeal catarrh
• Hoarseness
• Inflammation of the mouth and throat (pharyngitis)
• Gum inflammation

Active Ingredients

1 lozenge contains:

• 1 mg Lidocaine hydrochloride monohydrate
• 5 mg Chlorhexidine dihydrochloride

How does Easyangin® lemon work?

easyangin® lemon has a dual effect against pain and inflammation:

• Lidocaine has a local pain-relieving effect and rapidly reduces discomfort in the mouth and throat after use.
• Chlorhexidine has an antiseptic effect and helps fight bacteria and germs.

This allows easyangin® lemon to both relieve symptoms and support the cause of inflammation.

Application and Dosage

Adults

Let 1 lozenge slowly dissolve in the mouth every 2 hours.
The maximum daily dose of 10 tablets must not be exceeded.

Adolescents and children from 6 years of age

Let 1 lozenge slowly dissolve in the mouth every 4 hours.
The maximum daily dose of 5 tablets must not be exceeded.

Notes

Not suitable for children under 6 years of age.
Use this medicine only for a short period.

Contains aspartame as a source of phenylalanine. Suitable for individuals with phenylketonuria to observe.

Ingredients

Sorbitol (E 420), aspartame (E 951), acesulfame potassium, lemon flavor, magnesium stearate, and the active ingredients chlorhexidine dihydrochloride and lidocaine hydrochloride monohydrate.

Possible Side Effects

Like all medicines, easyangin® lemon can cause side effects, although not everyone experiences them. Temporary numbness in the mouth and throat, taste disturbances, or mild irritation of the mucous membranes are possible. Rarely, allergic reactions or hypersensitivity reactions to one of the active ingredients may occur. If persistent or unusual symptoms occur, discontinue use and seek medical advice.
