Easyangin® Honey Flavor

Easyangin® Honey Flavor are lozenges for topical use in the mouth and throat. The combination of the antiseptic active ingredient chlorhexidine and the local pain-relieving active ingredient lidocaine supports the treatment of sore throats and inflammation in the mouth and throat.

The lozenges with a pleasant honey flavor act directly in the affected area and can quickly relieve pain, irritation, and difficulty swallowing.

Areas of application

easyangin® Honey Flavor is used for the symptomatic local treatment of mild to moderate inflammations of the throat and oral cavity, such as:

• Sore throats
• Difficulty swallowing
• Hoarseness
• Reddened throat
• Gum inflammation
• Inflamed mucous membranes in the mouth
• Canker sores

For bacterial infections with fever, additional treatment may be required.

If you do not feel better or worse after 3 days, consult your doctor.

Active ingredients

1 lozenge contains:

• 5 mg chlorhexidine dihydrochloride
• 1 mg lidocaine hydrochloride monohydrate

Application and dosage

Adults

6 to 10 lozenges daily.
Allow 1 tablet to dissolve slowly in the mouth every 2 hours.
The maximum daily dose of 10 tablets must not be exceeded.

Adolescents and children from 6 years of age

3 to 5 lozenges daily.
Allow 1 tablet to dissolve slowly in the mouth every 4 hours.
The maximum daily dose of 5 tablets must not be exceeded.

For use in the oral cavity.
Allow the tablets to dissolve slowly in the mouth.

There should be an interval of at least 30 minutes between using easyangin® Honey Flavor and brushing your teeth with toothpaste.

Notes

Not suitable for children under 6 years of age.
This medicine should not be used for a prolonged period.

In case of overdose, symptoms such as ringing in the ears, restlessness, difficulty breathing, cardiac arrhythmias, or reduced control of the swallowing reflex may occur. In this case, a doctor or pharmacist should be contacted immediately.

Ingredients

Sorbitol, magnesium stearate, anhydrous citric acid, stevia, honey flavor, sulfites, and the active ingredients chlorhexidine dihydrochloride and lidocaine hydrochloride monohydrate.

Possible side effects

Like all medicines, easyangin® Honey Flavor can cause side effects, although not everyone experiences them. Possible side effects include temporary numbness in the mouth and throat, changes in taste, or mild irritation of the mucous membranes. Rarely, allergic reactions or hypersensitivity reactions to one of the ingredients may occur. If persistent or unusual symptoms occur, discontinue use and seek medical advice.
