Food supplement with glucomannan from konjac root – to support weight control as part of a calorie-restricted diet.

Area of application: Glucomannan contributes to weight loss as part of a calorie-restricted diet. The positive effect is achieved with a daily intake of 3 g of glucomannan in three portions of 1 g each, combined with 1–2 glasses of water before meals and as part of a calorie-restricted diet.

Special properties: Purely plant-based, vegan, and free from animal components, artificial colors, and flavorings.

Dr. Schreibers® Satiety Capsules contain the plant fiber glucomannan from the konjac root. Glucomannan has a high swelling capacity and forms a gel-like mass in the stomach when sufficient fluid is consumed.

Ingredients

Konjac root powder with glucomannan, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (capsule shell), bulking agent: microcrystalline cellulose.

Recommended Intake

Take 2 capsules 3 times daily, about 30 minutes before a meal, unchewed with 1–2 glasses or approx. 200–500 ml of water.

Do not exceed the maximum daily dose of 6 capsules.

Important Information

Do not open the capsules and do not take the contents without the capsule shell.

There is a risk of choking for individuals with swallowing difficulties or insufficient fluid intake. Therefore, intake must always be with plenty of water to ensure the glucomannan reaches the stomach.

Not suitable for children under 12 years of age.

Do not use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Not suitable for underweight individuals with a BMI below 18.5.
