Omega-3 fatty acids are essential polyunsaturated fatty acids and play important roles in the body. They support the elasticity of blood vessels, have a positive effect on blood lipid levels, and contribute to normal heart function. Furthermore, they play a crucial role for the brain and vision.

Since the body cannot produce omega-3 fatty acids itself, a regular intake is necessary. Especially with vegetarian or vegan diets, the supply of EPA and DHA can be difficult, as these fatty acids are mainly found in fatty marine fish.

Dr. Böhm® Omega 3 vegan was specially developed for people who prefer plant-based nutrition but still do not want to forego a high-quality omega-3 supply.

The small, easy-to-swallow capsules contain highly concentrated algae oil from the microalgae Schizochytrium sp. and thus provide valuable plant-based omega-3 fatty acids in optimal dosage.

Omega 3 and Astaxanthin from Microalgae

The combination of plant-based Omega 3 and Astaxanthin (AstaFit®) from sustainably cultivated microalgae offers a high-quality daily supply. Astaxanthin is one of the strongest natural antioxidants and sensibly complements the omega-3 fatty acids.

Recommended intake

Take 1 capsule daily, unchewed, with sufficient liquid, preferably with or after a meal.

Side effects
