DAOSiN® tablets support the breakdown of histamine from food in the gut

DAOSiN® is used when the body does not have enough diamine oxidase (DAO) available. Histamine-rich foods or so-called histamine liberators can increase the histamine content in the body. Especially matured or long-stored foods often contain larger amounts of histamine and other biogenic amines.

Normally, histamine is broken down in the intestine by the body's own enzyme diamine oxidase. If there is not enough of this enzyme, the absorption of histamine can be delayed. By taking DAOSiN® before histamine-containing meals, the amount of DAO in the small intestine is increased, thereby supporting the body's ability to break down histamine.

Recommended intake

Take one tablet with a little water approximately 15 minutes before a histamine-containing meal. Swallow the tablet whole, without chewing, so that the contents reach the intestine intact.

The maximum daily intake is 3 tablets, corresponding to 3 histamine-containing meals per day.

Notes

The recommended daily dose must not be exceeded. Please ensure a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.

Storage

Store cool at 6–25 °C and protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.

Ingredients

Active ingredients per tablet:

• 4.2 mg protein extract with diamine oxidase from pig kidney
• of which 0.3 mg diamine oxidase

Excipients:
Polydextrose, sodium phosphate, talc, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, magnesium salts of fatty acids, calcium carbonate, silicon dioxide, microcrystalline cellulose, cross-linked carboxymethylcellulose, vegetable fat (fully hydrogenated coconut fat), shellac, maltodextrin.
