CERUSTOP® Ear Oil Spray was specially developed to gently dissolve excess or hardened earwax (cerumen) and facilitate its removal. The fine spray application allows for easy and hygienic use. The ear oil penetrates the earwax, softens it, and makes it easier to remove.

Hardened earwax can impair hearing and promote the development of inflammation in the external ear canal. Regular use of CERUSTOP® supports natural ear hygiene and contributes to the health of the external ear canal.

The spray is also suitable for cleaning the auricle and external ear canal by gently removing dirt, skin flakes, and excess earwax. CERUSTOP® can also be used before a medical ear irrigation to soften hardened earwax and facilitate subsequent cleaning.

The product is suitable for adults and children aged 3 and over and can also be used by hearing aid wearers. There are no concerns about use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Instructions for Use

Before use, the spray should be warmed to body temperature. To remove excess or hardened earwax, adults should administer 2 to 3 sprays and children aged 3 and over 1 to 2 sprays into the external ear canal.

Then loosely close the ear with a small cotton ball, without inserting it deep into the ear canal. After an exposure time of about 10 minutes, gently rinse the ear with warm water, ideally with a gentle hand shower.

For severely hardened earwax, the application can be repeated.

To clean the auricle, apply a few sprays to a cotton ball and gently wipe the auricle and external ear canal. Then wipe with a dry cloth.

After ear irrigation with water, a suitable ear drying agent can be used to support the natural acid mantle of the external ear canal.

Side Effects

CERUSTOP® Ear Oil Spray is generally well tolerated. In rare cases, local skin irritations or hypersensitivity reactions to individual ingredients may occur. The product must not be used if there is a known allergy to any of the components, if the external ear canal is inflamed, or if the eardrum is perforated. If symptoms persist, pain, or uncertainty, medical advice should be sought.
