BoxaGrippal® forte helps with nasal congestion, sinus discomfort, and pain and fever caused by a cold.

This combination preparation has a decongestant, pain-relieving, and fever-reducing effect for colds and flu-like infections.

BoxaGrippal® forte combines two proven active ingredients for the targeted treatment of typical cold symptoms such as:

• Nasal congestion
• Sinus pressure
• Head and limb pain
• Fever
• Pain caused by a cold

Dual action for colds

Ibuprofen

The active ingredient ibuprofen has the following properties:

• pain-relieving
• fever-reducing
• anti-inflammatory

As colds are often accompanied by inflammation, ibuprofen specifically helps to alleviate the symptoms.

Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride

Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride has a decongestant effect on the mucous membranes in the nose and sinuses.

This results in:

• easier nasal breathing
• improved ventilation of the sinuses
• better drainage of secretions
• promotion of mucous membrane regeneration

For combined therapy

BoxaGrippal® forte should only be used if both:

• nasal congestion
• and pain or fever

are present.

Application/Dosage

Adults and adolescents aged 15 and over

For more severe symptoms, take one film-coated tablet. If necessary, the dose can be repeated every 6 hours.

Maximum daily dose:
3 film-coated tablets within 24 hours.

Swallow the film-coated tablets whole with a glass of water, preferably with meals.

If symptoms do not improve or worsen after 3 days in adolescents or 4 days in adults, a doctor should be consulted.

Active ingredients

• 400 mg Ibuprofen
• 60 mg Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride

Excipients

Contains, among other things, lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, highly dispersed silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, polyvinyl alcohol, titanium dioxide, macrogol 3350 and talc.

Notes

Not suitable for children under 15 years.

Contains lactose.

Side effects

Like all medicines, BoxaGrippal® forte can cause side effects, although not everyone experiences them.

Possible side effects include:

• Gastrointestinal discomfort
• Nausea
• Abdominal pain
• Dizziness
• Nervousness
• Insomnia
• Palpitations
• Increased blood pressure

Rarely, allergic reactions or more severe side effects may occur.

If side effects occur, discontinue use and inform a doctor or pharmacist.
