BoxaGrippal®

BoxaGrippal® combines two proven active ingredients for the treatment of cold-related symptoms such as:

• Stuffy nose
• Pressure in the sinuses
• Headache and body aches
• Fever
• Inflammation-related cold symptoms

Dual action for colds

Ibuprofen

The active ingredient ibuprofen works as:

• a pain reliever
• a fever reducer
• an anti-inflammatory

Since colds are often associated with inflammatory processes, ibuprofen specifically supports the alleviation of symptoms.

Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride

Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride has a decongestant effect on the mucous membranes of the nose and sinuses.

This:

• eases nasal breathing
• improves ventilation of the sinuses
• allows secretions to drain better
• supports mucous membrane regeneration

The effect can be compared to an "internal decongestant nasal spray."

Application / Dosage

Adults and adolescents aged 15 and over

1 tablet every 6 hours as needed.

For more severe symptoms, 2 tablets may be taken.

Maximum daily dose:
6 tablets within 24 hours.

The maximum duration of use is 5 days.

Active ingredients

• 200 mg ibuprofen
• 30 mg pseudoephedrine hydrochloride

Excipients

Contains, among other things, lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, highly dispersed silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, polyvinyl alcohol, titanium dioxide, macrogol 3350, and talc.

Notes

Do not use for more than 5 days.

Not suitable for children under 15 years.

Contains lactose.

Side effects

Like all medicines, BoxaGrippal® can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

Possible side effects include:

• Gastrointestinal complaints
• Nausea
• Abdominal pain
• Dizziness
• Nervousness
• Insomnia
• Palpitations
• Increase in blood pressure

Rarely, allergic reactions or serious side effects may occur.

If side effects occur, discontinue use and inform a doctor or pharmacist.
