Bioflair® is a probiotic medicine containing live cultures of Enterococcus faecium SF68®. It supports the maintenance and restoration of the natural intestinal flora and is used for acute, uncomplicated diarrhea and disorders of the intestinal flora.

Indications

• Symptomatic and supportive treatment of acute, uncomplicated diarrhea

• Support for disorders of the intestinal flora

• Restoration of the natural intestinal flora after antibiotic therapy or other influences on the intestinal flora

• Support of natural gut colonization in adults and children

Further Product Information

The healthy intestine contains numerous beneficial bacteria that contribute to digestion and the balance of the intestinal flora. Bioflair® contains the natural gut inhabitant Enterococcus faecium SF68®, which is characterized by its high vitality and resistance.

By supporting the natural intestinal flora, pathogenic germs can be inhibited in their growth and more quickly expelled from the intestine.

Active Ingredient

1 capsule contains:

• At least 75 million live cultures of Enterococcus faecium SF68® in dried form

Other Ingredients

• Lactose

• Magnesium stearate

• Highly dispersed silicon dioxide

• Sodium glutamate

Capsule Shell Components

• Gelatin

• Shellac

• Lecithin

• Dimethicone

• Iron oxide (E172)

Dosage and Administration

Adults

• 1 capsule 3 times daily

Children aged 2 to 12 years

• 1 capsule 2 times daily

• Use in children only upon medical recommendation

Method of Administration

• Take with meals with water, milk, or fruit juice

• Do not use hot beverages

• If swallowing is difficult, the capsule can be opened and the content stirred into cold or lukewarm liquid

Duration of Use

• Usually 7 days

• Longer use may occur after medical consultation

Special Notes

• An interval of at least 2 hours should be maintained between taking antibiotics and Bioflair®.

• Do not use concurrently with oral vaccinations.

• If diarrhea persists for more than 48 hours or severe symptoms occur, medical advice should be sought.

• Ensure adequate fluid and electrolyte intake.

Storage

• Do not store above 21 °C

• Store in the refrigerator at higher temperatures

• Protect from light and moisture
