Bepanthen® Cream

For the external treatment of wounds and inflammations of the skin and mucous membranes.

Bepanthen Cream supports the healing of skin and mucous membranes in case of minor injuries and skin irritations.

The cream is suitable for the treatment and prevention of dry, chapped or brittle skin, provides moisture and relieves dry skin discomfort.

Bepanthen Cream is quickly absorbed and supports the natural regeneration of the skin.

Application

Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as agreed with your doctor or pharmacist.

For topical application to the skin.

The cream is applied thinly once to several times a day to the cleansed wound, damaged skin or mucous membrane.

The duration of treatment depends on the nature and course of the symptoms.

Ingredients

Active ingredient:
1 g cream contains 50 mg dexpanthenol (5%).

Other ingredients:
2-hydroxy-3,3-dimethylbutyrolactone, phenoxyethanol, amphisol K, cetyl alcohol, cetylstearyl alcohol, adeps lanae (lanolin, wool wax) E913, isopropyl myristate, propylene glycol, purified water.

Side effects

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

Occasionally, the following may occur:

• Skin irritations
• Redness
• Itching
• Contact allergic reactions

The ingredients lanolin, cetyl alcohol, cetylstearyl alcohol and propylene glycol can cause localized skin irritations.
