Bepanthen Eye Drops Intense
These eye drops are specially designed for the intensive treatment of severely dry and chronically dry, irritated eyes. The milky-white emulsion forms a stable and long-lasting protective film on the eye surface, complementing natural tears and protecting against premature evaporation.
The included lipid protective shield complex specifically supports and stabilizes the lipid layer of the tear film. This leads to a reduction in moisture loss and sustainable protection of the eye surface.
Hyaluronic acid and dexpanthenol promote intensive and long-lasting moisturization and support the care of the irritated eye surface. Additionally, vitamins A and E provide antioxidant protection against external influences.
The formula is free of preservatives and phosphates, making it suitable for long-term use. Contact lens wearers can also use the product.
Area of application:
For symptomatic treatment and intensive care of severely dry and chronically dry, irritated eyes.
Common triggers include:
Environmental factors
e.g., air conditioning, wind, cold, or dry air
Mechanical influences
e.g., from wearing contact lenses
Visual strain
e.g., from prolonged screen work or driving
Other causes
e.g., age-related decrease in tear production or taking certain medications
Application:
As needed, apply one drop into the conjunctival sac of the eye up to 3 times daily, or up to 5 times daily for more severe discomfort.
Apply directly from the single-dose container. Can also be used with contact lenses in place.
Notes on use:
For ophthalmic use only.
Do not use if the single-dose containers are damaged or the foil packaging is defective.
If other eye drops are used simultaneously, an interval of at least 15 minutes should be observed, with Bepanthen Eye Drops being applied last.
Store single-dose containers in the original carton to protect them from light. After first opening the foil packaging, the single-dose containers can be used for 3 months.
Do not use after the expiry date. Keep out of reach of children.
Ingredients:
Sodium hyaluronate, dexpanthenol, phospholipids (from soybean oil), vitamin A (retinol), vitamin E (DL-α-tocopherol), glycerol, carbomer, citric acid, water for injection.
Side effects:
In rare cases, allergic reactions may occur. If symptoms or irritation persist, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
