Bepanthen Eye Drops preservative-free

Contains 0.15% sodium hyaluronate and 2% dexpanthenol

The eye drops promote long-lasting moisturization of the eye surface and help to soothe irritation and reduce discomfort.

Sodium hyaluronate has the ability to form a stable and uniform moisturizing film on the cornea. This protects the eye surface from drying out without impairing vision.

Dexpanthenol complements this effect with its water-binding properties and additionally supports the care and soothing of the irritated eye surface.

The combination of both ingredients ensures improved lubrication of the eye surface and a comfortable feeling for dry, irritated eyes.

Instructions for use:

Pull down the lower eyelid of the affected eye with one finger and tilt your head slightly backward. Keep both eyes open and fix your gaze upwards.

With the other hand, hold the open dropper bottle vertically over the eye, without making direct contact with the eye.

Apply one drop into the conjunctival sac with light pressure, ideally towards the outer corner of the eye.

Then slowly close your eyelids and move your eyeballs slightly to distribute the liquid evenly. Afterwards, gently press on the tear duct in the inner corner of the eye for one to five minutes to prevent the drops from draining away.

The application can be done three to five times daily as needed. If symptoms persist or worsen, an ophthalmologist should be consulted.

Storage and use information:

Do not use if the bottle is damaged or the tamper-evident seal is broken.

Do not use after the expiry date.

After first opening, the product should not be used for more than 12 months.

Close the bottle tightly after use and store it in the original carton, protected from light.

Ingredients:
0.15% sodium hyaluronate, 2% dexpanthenol, sodium chloride, sodium citrate, citric acid, water for injections.

Side Effects:
In rare cases, mild irritations such as burning or redness may occur. If symptoms persist or worsen, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
