femidoc® CIMICIFUGA 13 mg is a herbal medicine for the relief of moderate to severe menopausal symptoms, particularly hot flashes and sweating.

Each tablet contains 13 mg of dry extract from the rhizome of black cohosh (Cimicifuga racemosa) as the active ingredient.

Areas of Application

For the relief of moderate to severe menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes and sweating.

Recommended Use

Women in menopause should take 1 tablet once daily, unchewed, with some liquid.

Since the effect does not occur immediately, a minimum application of 6 weeks is recommended. The first therapeutic effects may appear after approximately 2 weeks.

If no improvement occurs after 6 weeks or if symptoms worsen, a doctor should be consulted.

Use beyond 6 months should only take place after consulting a doctor.

Ingredients / Composition

1 tablet contains as active ingredient:

13 mg dry extract from black cohosh rhizome (Cimicifuga racemosa (L.) Nutt., rhizoma), drug-extract ratio 4.5–8.5:1; extracting agent: ethanol 60 % (V/V).

Other ingredients: Microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, croscarmellose sodium, povidone, magnesium stearate, highly dispersed silicon dioxide.

Important Notes

The medicine is intended for use by women during menopause. 

The medicine contains lactose.
