Cetebe® Vitamin C Retard 500 mg is a vitamin C preparation for the prevention and treatment of vitamin C deficiency that cannot be remedied through diet.
The sustained-release capsules contain patented ZEITPERLEN® (TIME BEADS) that continuously release vitamin C over several hours, ensuring a long-lasting supply.

Product Information
Vitamin C is essential for the human body and involved in numerous metabolic processes. Since the body cannot produce vitamin C itself, it must be ingested regularly through food or appropriate supplements.
Thanks to the patented ZEITPERLEN® technology, vitamin C is released in portions over several hours. The time beads consist of several layers of vitamin C and a slowly dissolving food coating. This ensures continuous release of the vitamin and particularly good absorption.
An increased risk of vitamin C deficiency can exist, among others, in:
- Seniors over 65 years
- Smokers
- Pregnant and breastfeeding women
- People with an unbalanced diet
- People with acute infectious diseases
Intake and Dosage
Adults take 1–2 capsules daily, whole with sufficient liquid.
Children and adolescents under 13 years of age require less vitamin C than adults. The decision on intake for adolescents aged 13 and over is made by the physician.
