Oleovital® Eye Ointment

Oleovital® Eye Ointment provides long-lasting relief for dry, irritated, and slightly inflamed eyes.

The eye ointment is particularly suitable:

• for environmental stresses such as air conditioning, wind, dry air, or air pollution, for example, from cigarette smoke
• for fatigue and visual stress due to intensive screen work, microscope work, or long car journeys
• for mechanical strain on the eyes, such as from hard or soft contact lenses or after diagnostic procedures on the eye

Application

Oleovital® Eye Ointment is usually applied 3 times a day to improve the tear film long-term and intensively protect the ocular surface.

Application in the evening before bedtime is particularly recommended so that the ointment can fully develop its intensive and long-lasting effect.

Instructions for Use

• Unscrew protective cap
• Tilt head slightly backward
• Gently pull lower eyelid away from the eye
• Apply an approximately 0.5 cm long string of ointment into the conjunctival sac by gently pressing the tube
• Close eyes slowly

Close the tube carefully after use.

Application should not be continuous for longer than 30 days.

After opening, the ointment is stable for 3 months.

Precautions and Warnings

Temporary blurred vision may occur after application. During this time, do not drive a vehicle or operate machinery and wait until normal visual acuity is restored.

Side Effects

In rare cases, temporary burning, blurred vision, or mild irritation may occur after application.
