isla junior throat lozenges contain a special extract of Icelandic moss to soothe irritated oral and pharyngeal mucous membranes.

The mucilages contained, together with saliva, form a protective film on the mucous membranes. This moisturizes dry and irritated areas and protects them from further irritation. Mucous membrane regeneration is supported and coughing can be relieved.

In addition, the lozenges contain:

• Vitamin C
• Zinc
• Calcium pantothenate

Side effects

Like all medical products, isla junior throat lozenges can also cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

Possible side effects:

• Hypersensitivity reactions to individual ingredients
• Rarely mild stomach or intestinal complaints
• Excessive consumption of sorbitol and maltitol can have a laxative effect
