CARBO medicinalis "SANOVA" Tablets

Medicinal charcoal is of vegetable origin and is obtained, among other things, from coconuts.

Area of application

For adsorption therapy in acute non-specific diarrhea, especially in cases of diarrheal diseases when travelling in countries with low hygiene standards.

Active ingredient

1 tablet contains:

• 250 mg Carbo adsorbens (medicinal activated charcoal)

Dosage

Adults, adolescents and children from 2 years:

4 tablets 3 times a day.

Method of application

The tablets can be chewed or swallowed whole with some liquid.

For small children, the tablets should be crushed as finely as possible and administered with thick or mushy food, preferably without milk or sugar.

Notes

CARBO medicinalis "SANOVA" is suitable for children from 2 years of age.

It can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding. The information in the package leaflet must be observed.

Since activated charcoal can also bind other ingested medicinal products and thus reduce their effect, sufficient time should be allowed between doses if other medicinal products are taken at the same time.

Other ingredients

Sucrose, lactose monohydrate, croscarmellose sodium and magnesium stearate.

One tablet contains, among other things, 284 mg sucrose and 184 mg lactose.

Storage

Store in the original packaging to protect the contents from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
