Otodolor® Ear Drops are a homeopathic medicine for decongestion and pain relief for outer ear canal conditions. They are used as a supportive treatment for irritations, redness, and eczematous crusts and, according to homeopathic understanding, promote the body's self-regulation.

Ear pain can have various causes. Infections with viruses or bacteria are often responsible. Allergic reactions, water entering after bathing or swimming, and mechanical irritation from cotton swabs can also cause discomfort in the outer ear canal. Ear pain also frequently occurs in connection with colds.

The homeopathic active ingredients contained in Otodolor® are traditionally used as supportive treatment for inflammatory conditions of the outer ear canal. Their use in the stated areas of application is based exclusively on the insights of homeopathic materia medica. In cases of severe or pronounced conditions, medically recommended therapy is required.

Application

Unless otherwise prescribed, adults, adolescents, and children aged 6 and over should apply approximately 3 to 5 drops in the affected ear every 2 to 4 hours.

As soon as an improvement in symptoms occurs, the frequency of application should be reduced.

Otodolor® is intended exclusively for dropping into the ear and should not be used for more than 14 days without medical consultation.

For children under 6 years of age, use is not recommended due to insufficient data.

If symptoms do not improve or worsen within 7 days, a doctor should be consulted.

Side Effects

Like all medicines, Otodolor® can cause side effects, although not everyone experiences them. Hypersensitivity reactions to one of the ingredients are possible. In case of persistent ear pain, fever, discharge from the ear, or worsening of symptoms, medical advice should be sought immediately.
