NORMISON® Ear Spray was developed for the care of the external auditory canal and supports rapid drying of the skin after bathing, swimming, or diving. Residual moisture in the ear can impair the natural acid mantle and increase the risk of inflammation of the external auditory canal. The special formulation helps to remove excess moisture and restore the natural balance in the ear.

The combination of isopropyl alcohol and acetic acid rapidly dries the skin surface and supports the natural pH value. Dexpanthenol additionally cares for the sensitive skin of the external auditory canal.

The 360-degree rotating spray head allows for easy, comfortable, and hygienic application. NORMISON® Ear Spray is suitable both for preventing inflammation after water contact and as an accompanying measure to a doctor-prescribed treatment for inflammation of the external auditory canal.

The ear spray is suitable for adults and children aged 3 years and older, and can also be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Application

After bathing, swimming, or diving, apply the ear spray at body temperature if possible.

• Adults: 2 to 3 sprays into the external auditory canal.

• Children aged 3 years and older: 1 to 2 sprays into the external auditory canal.

Then tilt the head to the side for about 20 to 30 seconds to allow the liquid to take effect. Afterwards, straighten the head and carefully wipe away any leaking liquid. Any product residue can remain in the ear canal and evaporate. Repeat the application on the other ear.

In case of increased earwax or skin flakes, it is recommended to remove them beforehand with a suitable earwax remover, such as CERUSTOP® Ear Oil Spray.

Side Effects

NORMISON® Ear Spray is generally well tolerated when used as directed. In cases of sensitive or irritated skin, a slight burning or tingling sensation may temporarily occur in the external auditory canal. The product must not be used in case of known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients or in case of a perforated eardrum. In case of earache or persistent discomfort, medical advice should be sought.
