If only individual areas are affected, less gel should be applied specifically to those areas.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn cases of very severe scaling and crust formation, treatment can be started with daily application for a short period.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eApplication time:\u003c\/strong\u003e at least 10 minutes, up to a maximum of 30 minutes for severe scaling.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe treatment should be carried out as a course over \u003cstrong\u003e3 to 4 weeks\u003c\/strong\u003e. To maintain the treatment success, application can then be reduced to once a week or every 14 days.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFor dry or sensitive scalp, the application time should be limited to approximately 10 minutes, and the frequency of application should be reduced if necessary.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eHow to use Squamasol® Gel\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eApply a thin layer of the gel to dry or slightly damp scalp. If necessary, part the hair beforehand and then gently massage in the gel.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAfter application, rinse hands thoroughly. After the intended application time, rinse the gel thoroughly from hair and scalp with water. The wash water should not get into the eyes.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAn additional hair wash is usually not necessary. If required, a mild shampoo can be used.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eMaximum daily dose\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe maximum daily dose for adults is \u003cstrong\u003e20 g of Squamasol® Gel\u003c\/strong\u003e, corresponding to 2 g of salicylic acid.
